It’s Time for RHS Glow: Transforming RHS Harlow Carr into a Winter Wonderland
Get ready for the brightest time of the year! RHS Harlow Carr invites you to experience RHS Glow, a sparkling wonderland perfect for all ages. From Thursday, 21 November to Saturday, 28 December 2024, from 4.30 pm to 8.30 pm, this enchanting festive event is set to captivate visitors with magical displays, vibrant light trails, and seasonal charm.
This year’s RHS Glow introduces exciting new features, including towering ‘Playful Petunias’ that light up with changing colours and playful sound effects at the press of a button. Capture magical moments at the star frame, and wander through the enchanting forest of sparkling ‘Fairybell Trees’.
Packed with atmospheric installations – perfect for selfies – the trail includes the stunning 30-meter wisteria-purple arch, the River of Light, the dazzling Mirror Ball Trees, and the vibrant Harlequin Tree. Sixty twinkling ‘Tri Lanterns’ will guide visitors through the garden, ending with the spectacular Rainbow Bridge.
Along the journey excerpts from Jack Frost – A Winter Story , a captivating story written and narrated by Alan Titchmarsh with spellbinding music composed by Debbie Wiseman will be featured a various locations.
For the first time, visitors will be able to warm up with delicious seasonal treats at the Harrogate Arms Café, featuring Bratwurst, jacket potatoes, and cosy indoor seating. Betty’s Teahouse will also be serving luxurious hot drinks and delightful cakes.
Festive shopping opportunities include the Bath House Gift Shop, filled with locally made, handmade Christmas gifts—perfect for taking a piece of festive cheer home. The garden centre offers an array of holiday decorations, thoughtful gifts, festive houseplants, and beautiful UK-grown Christmas trees.
Tickets start at £13.95 per adult and £7.45 per child, with free entry for children under 5 and carers. This unique experience is ideal for family and friends, creating unforgettable winter memories.
